Meeting point: Kirkegata 1
Overnight in a Lavvo and Reindeer Sledging
01.01 - 20.03
18:00 from Kirkegata 1
Reindeer sledging, overnight in a Sami tent, local guide, outdoor wholesuit, sleeping bag, meal and breakfast, transfer
Try reindeer sledding, the oldest means of transportation in the north on the island of Kvaløya. The location has little artificial light and excellent conditions to look for the Northern Lights. Instead of heading back to the city center where you might miss a late-night dance from the Aurora, stay on in this good location in a traditional Sami lavvo (tent), sleeping on reindeer skins in winter-insulated sleeping bags. Return to Tromsø next morning.
NOTE: This is a wilderness camp and has no running water or showers or flushing toilets. You might be sharing the lavvo with other visitors.
